Nature of our Business

There are two core elements to CHRISANNE'S business this is to:

1.Supply raw materials such as Chrisanne Fabrics, Trimmings, and Swarovski Crystals, etc to designers and dressmakers worldwide. Within this element CHRISANNE has a competitive edge, as we are the market Leader and innovators of Ballroom and Latin dance fashions. All these raw products are tested to ensure their suitability.

2.Production and delivery of Chrisanne Couture Ballroom dresses to dancers worldwide, partially direct and partially through local distribution channels. In this area CHRISANNE operates at the premium end of the market with a high emphasis on uniqueness of design and brand reputation combined with top class craftsmanship in garment construction.

CHRISANNE is committed to maintaining an ethos of quality and excellence with all products, design, style and innovation as well as internal management development of our vibrant team.

Research & Development

At CHRISANNE we make sure that we are constantly updated with new fabrics, crystals and dancewear products on the market in order to be able to pass the best products and information on to our customers. This ensures that the customer is always kept up to date about the newest dance and fashion trends available to make informed decisions on purchases.

Our development of products is so regular that we have additions to our CHRISANNE Fabrics and Essentials colour charts every January, May and September each year. Sign up for the CHRISANNE Club to make sure you are on top of the latest trends 3 times a year.

The CHRISANNE Research & Development team attend various national and international trade exhibitions in order to be one of the first to discover new products, fabrics, crystals and other to incorporate into our range. Gaining influences from all over the world allows us to constantly push the boundaries of dance fashion.

2005 - BEST BUSINESS AWARD NOMINATION

CHRISANNE was nominated for the 2005 Best of Business Award for the South East region and finished in the ‘Runner-up’ position. The nomination is for the Best International Business category reflecting the emphasis that CHRISANNE place on its international business connections. Without CHRISANNE’S international focus the company would not be what it is today so as well as valuing our UK market our international markets are also of great importance to us, and it is excellent to receive recognition for our international business efforts.

2005 - BAFTA AWARD NOMINATION

CHRISANNE has produced dresses for all three series of the BBC’s highly successful Strictly Come Dancing . The show was nominated for a BAFTA Award (British Academy of Film and Television) in the Best Costume Category, giving CHRISANNE recognition for our unique costumes. However, although being nominees Strictly Come Dancing lost out to the series The Long firm.

2002 – BEST OF BUSINESS AWARD WINNERS

In 2002 CHRISANNE won the award for Best International Business giving us proud recognition of our efforts with out international markets with Japan being our largest market.

2001- CARL-ALAN AWARD WINNERS

In 2001 CHRISANNE were elated to receive the award for Outstanding Service to Dance Category. We were extremely pleased to receive this award and we continue to carry on striving to serve the demands of the competitive dance industry.

1993 – CROYDON BUSINESS AWARD WINNERS

1993 thrillingly saw CHRISANNE winning the Croydon Best Business Award presented to the company as being "World Leaders in Fabric & Design for Dancing, Show Business and Skating".

1993 – THE INDEPENDENT 100 BUSINESS AWARD WINNERS

CHRISANNE were elated in 1993 when we came in at 15th position for the high profile newspaper The Independent’s top 100 Business Award for "Best Performing Independent Companies"
